PRIMARY ASA THURSDAY(Free)
Tennis (P6 - P8)

Focus on fundamental skills like grip, stance, and basic strokes (forehand and backhand), along with hand-eye coordination drills and learning the court layout. Incorporating fun games and activities will keep them engaged and motivated.
Quilling ( P4 - P8)

Quilling involves using strips of paper that are rolled, looped, curled, twisted and otherwise manipulated to create different shapes, and glued together to create decorative designs. It helps develop a range of skills like fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, patience, concentration, and creativity.
Table Tennis (P7 - P8)

An indoor sport in which two or four players hit a ping pong ball back and forth across a table using small rackets. Benefits include hand-eye coordination, improved balance, enhanced concentration, faster reflexes, and improved motor skills.
Indian Classical Music (Carnatic music from South India) (P4 - P8)

Carnatic music is a classical Indian musical tradition primarily associated with South India, known for its complex rhythms and melodies
Basketball (P6 - P8)

Basketball ASA is a structured program designed to develop students’ basketball skills in a fun and supportive environment. It focuses on improving fundamental techniques such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and defence, while also fostering teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship. Sessions typically include warm-ups, skill drills, small-sided games, and friendly matches. The aim is to build confidence, physical fitness, and a love for the game, catering to varying skill levels from beginners to advanced players.
Fun and Adventure (P4 - P8)

BOLLYHOP - Bollywood dance in fusion with Hip Hop dance (P4 - P8)

A dance form intertwining 2 dance form Bollywood dance style and Hip hop dance style. Both the dance style comprises of rapid hand movements, eye hand co-ordination, expressing emotions, helps you to stay fit.
Editorial Club (P6 - P8)

The Editorial Club would be a space for learners to express their ideas by creating newsletters and articles, while building skills in editing, communication, and creativity. It would offer a meaningful platform to share student voices and celebrate our learning community.
The Power of Handwriting: Calligraphy and Cursive in Focus (P5 - P8)

Our learners will inquire into calligraphy and cursive writing as forms of artistic self-expression and communication. They will develop fine motor skills, demonstrate focus and commitment through guided handwriting practice, and gain an appreciation for how handwriting connects to personal identity and global communication. This activity will foster creativity, enhance presentation skills, and support their growth as reflective, balanced, and confident communicators.
Electro Motion (P6 - P8)

Unlock your creativity and bring your ideas to life with our dynamic ASA - ElectroMotion! Dive into the world of soundscape by creating your very own sounds using tech tools. Take your skills to the next level in a fun, collaborative and supportive environment. This ASA will also includ activities with musical instruments such as boomwacker tubes, recorder, ukulele and xylophones.
Boys Football (P5 -P6)

Players will develop their skills through focused drills, teamwork exercises, and practice matches, all designed to prepare them for tournaments throughout the year.
Soap Making (P4 - P5)

Soap Making – A Fun ASA Activity
Turn soap making into a fun and memorable experience! This hands-on ASA activity engages children in a creative, sensory process where they explore colours, textures, and scents while learning basic science concepts. It's a playful way to learn and create something useful, too!
Cricket (P6 - P8 )

Cricket is a fun and engaging team sport that builds physical fitness, coordination, and teamwork. As part of the ASA programme, students will learn the basics of batting, bowling, and fielding through age-appropriate drills and games. They will develop essential motor skills, practice fair play, and enjoy the spirit of the game in a supportive environment. This activity also encourages focus, strategic thinking, and collaboration — all while having fun outdoors

Swimming (P4 -P8 )

Advanced Swim Squad:
A programme designed for swimmers who are already very proficient and will train at a higher intensity. Our PYP BAASC Swim Teams will also be selected from this group later in the year. Students in this programme are required to swim on both Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Learn to swim:
This programme is a fully inclusive programme designed for beginner/ intermediate swimmers. Swimmers in this programme can choose to swim on both Tuesday and Thursday or they can choose just one of the days. Please note that whichever day they choose must remain the same for the duration of the ASA season.
Both of our programmes will take place at the Stonehill School Pool from 2.30pm to 4pm.
Lego Robotics (P4 -P5 )

Students explore the exciting world of robotics using LEGO EV3 Mindstorms. They will learn to build, program, and control robots, fostering creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Perfect for budding engineers and tech enthusiasts!
Yoga (P4 -P8 )

Yoga is a gentle and mindful practice that supports physical and emotional well-being. In this ASA, students will learn simple breathing exercises, basic yoga poses, and relaxation techniques. The sessions are designed to improve flexibility, balance, and concentration while helping children feel calm and centered.
